Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Beauty Therapy professionals? We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our Hair & Beauty department on a fixed‑term basis. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, pastoral support and assessment, helping learners develop their skills, confidence, and career aspirations.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team, contribute to high‑quality curriculum delivery, and maintain strong industry links to ensure learners receive a current, relevant and engaging experience.

This is a part‑time position for 29–30 hours per week, worked over four days. We are open to offering flexibility, which can be discussed with the manager during interview.
 

This is a fixed-term position till 31st July 2027 
Actual Salary: £27,600.64-  £34,935.60 per annum (29 hours) and  £28,552.39- £36,140.28 per annum (30 hours)

Essential Criteria

  • A relevant Beauty Therapy–related degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks.
  • Experience embedding Functional Skills English and/or maths within lessons.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across Beauty Therapy programmes.
  • Act as a course tutor, providing pastoral support and monitoring attendance, behaviour and progress.
  • Plan and deliver innovative, inclusive lessons using a range of teaching strategies and digital technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records including lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, eILPs and e‑registers.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, course reviews and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in marketing activities such as Open Days and promotional events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, industry partners and support teams to enhance learner outcomes.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and British Values throughout all teaching and support activity.
